Paralegal: Adam Zahn
Dedicated to serving our clients’ needs and expectations, paralegal Adam Zahn works closely with the lawyers to develop the best strategies for success. He enjoys working on difficult cases and appeals. He began his career in immigration working on employment-based cases in Philadelphia. Adam spent time in Cameroon teaching English and Mathematics to elementary school children. His experience abroad allowed him to develop strong intercultural communication skills and understanding for the international community. Adam is also a dedicated percussionist teaching high school band during his spare time. Adam is fluent in French and has a basic knowledge of Spanish. He is of Austrian and Russian ancestry.
Paralegal: Liudmila Kozlov
Originally from Kyrgyzstan in the former Soviet Union where she formally trained in concert piano, Liudmila specializes in case preparation, organizing and collating the documentation required in matters involving naturalization, marriage adjustment and other family-based applications, fiancé (e) visas and asylum. In addition, she has helped foreign nationals of exceptional ability in music obtain permanent resident status. Liudmila has lived in Yemen, and is fluent in English and Russian, with a reading comprehension of Arabic.
Paralegal: Aseel Rasheed
Having passed through the immigration system on her journey from the Middle East, Aseel has developed strong skills in the preparation of immigration applications and in the briefing of witnesses for appearances before the USCIS and immigration court. She also works extensively with employers seeking to sponsor foreign employees. A research scientist before entering the legal profession, Aseel has helped many foreign scientists with immigration issues and obtaining permanent resident (green card) status. Besides being fluent in English, she is also conversant in Arabic and Turkman
Paralegal: Patricia Velasco
Patricia’s special set of skills includes investigating and analyzing details of frequently complex client cases, preparing necessary documents in family-based, employer-sponsored as well as court cases. She also guides the firm’s Spanish- speaking clients through the complexities of immigration paperwork. Patricia has come a long way from sharing the immigrant life as a migrant farm worker along with her Mexican-born parents, and is presently sharpening her legal skills on the way to obtaining her law degree. In addition to fluency in Spanish, Patricia is learning to speak Haitian Creole.
Administrative Assistant: Andrea Rodriguez
Our multi-tasking Administrative Assistant, Andrea, wears many hats during her workday. As our Receptionist, she welcomes new clients, assessing their needs and directing them to the appropriate resource person within the firm. As our Billing Manager, she handles payment of our vendor accounts, and as our Scheduling Manager, she is responsible for scheduling client appointments for the firm’s attorneys and paralegals. Andrea is fluent in Spanish and is working towards a career within the legal profession.
