and the federal courts. Reflecting his focus on human rights and refugee issues, he has volunteered as an election observer in El Salvador and served on the board of a non-profit serving indigent immigrants. Tom spent several years in Texas before settling in
Pennsylvania. While in Texas, he was deeply involved with a Day Labor Site serving as Interim Director for the non-profit group integral in creating an Immigrant Rights program for detained women and children. Tom is conversant in Spanish.
