Philadelphia Immigration Lawyer
Wayne Nguyen, Esq.
Being a first generation U.S. born son of Vietnamese refugees, Philadelphia immigration lawyer, Wayne Nguyen, understands the frustration, confusion, and sometimes pain caused by the U.S. immigration system. He also understands that his life is the fruit of the same system and works hard and untiringly to bring about positive outcomes for each client.
Wayne graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor of Arts degree and subsequently earned his Juris Doctor degree from the Drexel University School of Law. As a practicing immigration lawyer in Philadelphia, Wayne has appeared on numerous occasions in immigration court, zealously representing clients in complex matters before the Executive Office for Immigration Review. He has defended the Philadelphia immigration firm’s clients in removal/deportation proceedings and has assisted in appeals at the Board of Immigration Appeals and Circuit Court levels. In addition, he has helped clients seeking lawful status through USCIS – many of whom were able to receive green cards despite issues of inadmissibility – and worked successfully on complex cases involving various U.S. Consulates abroad.
Before joining the Philadelphia immigration law firm of Surin & Griffin, P.C., Wayne served at the Hebrew Immigration Aid Society of Pennsylvania, a nonprofit that serves immigrants, refugees, and asylees. He also worked at the AIDS Law Project of Pennsylvania, providing legal assistance to individuals with HIV/AIDS. Wayne is a member of the Bar of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
