Specializing in cases involving clients at risk of persecution in their home countries, Philadelphia immigration lawyer, Tom Brannen, is an experienced litigator who frequently represents our clients at immigration court proceedings, USCIS interviews and appeals before the Immigration Board of Appeals and the federal courts.

Reflecting his focus on human rights and refugee issues, Philadelphia citizenship attorney, Tom Brannen, has volunteered as an election observer in El Salvador and served on the board of a non-profit that serves indigent immigrants. He spent several years in Texas before settling in Pennsylvania. While in Texas, he was deeply involved with a Day Labor Site serving as Interim Director for the non-profit group integral in creating an Immigrant Rights program for detained women and children. Tom is conversant in Spanish.

In 1989 Tom received his B.A. from the University of Dallas, majoring in Politics. In 1993, he received his law degree from the University of Houston Law School. Tom was admitted to the bar of Texas in 1994 and the bar of Pennsylvania in 2002. In 2006, he became a member of the U.S. Court of Appeals, Third Circuit. He is also a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
